Councilor – Elizabeth Heise

Elizabeth Heise is at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in the Environmental Sciences Program. She joined CUR in 2008 and served as a Councilor from 2009 to the present.

“I was an undergraduate researcher at UCLA, That experience lead me to integrate undergraduate research in the curriculum of our program at UTB. The work the students do during the design, execution and reporting of their research project makes our whole program come together and be centered on undergraduate research. The experience has helped them in graduate school as well as in their working careers.”
