CUR is an Associated Society of the Geological Society of America. GeoCUR sponsors a variety of topical sessions and has a booth in the Exhibit Hall at each GSA annual meeting.

AGU has signed an agreement with the Council on Undergraduate Research – Collaboration between the scientific society and the educational organization aims to foster research opportunities and diversity in undergraduate geoscience education. See EOS article.
